Google Classroom: Disable Email Notifications

1. Go to classroom.google.com (ensure you are signed in with your school credentials)
    
2. At the top, click Menu .

   

3. Click Settings.

   (You might need to scroll down.)

   

4. Next to Receive email notifications, choose one:
   • To turn off notifications, click the switch to Off .
   • To turn on notifications, click the switch to On .

If you turn On the global notification switch, you can then fine tune what kind of notification you want and from which classes - it's not just all On or all Off.
