How to create a filter:
- mail.google.com
- Upon signing into Google Suite, on the top search bar, to create a filter to a label click the arrow in the right corner of the search bar. Then you will see the following drop down:
- Within this drop down menu you can choose how/who/what you want to filter from the sections provided, this includes filtering any emails that include an attachment. Once you have chosen what you would like to filter, click 'Create Filter'
Once you have 'Created your filter' the menu will change to the following, click 'Apply the label', which will create another drop down menu of your 'current labels', from this list you can select which 'label' these chosen emails will be sent to (you can also allow the emails to be deleted).
How to create a new label:
From that same menu as above, within the drop down menu of 'Apply the label', there is also an option to 'Create new label', this will be added to the left hand side along with all other labels. Once you have created this new label then this will be added to the drop down menu within from the 'Apply the filter' section.
